Medical Student Scholarship Application
2026-2027 School Year

The University of Minnesota Medical School awards scholarships based on financial need. Some scholarships have specific criteria that recipients must meet, in addition to financial need, in accordance with specific preferences outlined by the donors. This application and the following questions are designed to help the Medical School Scholarship and Awards Committee make selections in such instances.

If you wish to be considered for need-based scholarships awarded by the Medical School Scholarship Committee during the 2026-2027 school year, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Also, this online Medical Student Scholarship Application MUST be completed and submitted to the Twin Cities Medical School Financial Aid Office by March 1, 2026. This deadline is waived for new matriculants accepted on or after March 1, 2026.

By completing this scholarship application, I give permission to the University of Minnesota Medical School Scholarship and Awards Committee to review my academic and financial records that are on file in my name in order to determine scholarship eligibility.

You will be considered for any/all need-based institutional (University of Minnesota Foundation, Medical School, Financial Aid Office) scholarships available to medical students.

Please answer: Yes/No to agree to the above terms/conditions. *
Note: This application will be submitted using the system time-stamp.
